Ancestral Healing Circle is an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to honoring and addressing the wounds of historical and intergenerational trauma. For over 35 years, we have worked through ceremony, education, and advocacy to foster cultural renewal and meaningful change—through repatriation efforts, returning ancestral belongings to their rightful homes, bringing healing to communities, and honoring those who came before us. This work is rooted in truth, responsibility, and the long path toward healing. We invite you to walk it with us.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how community-rooted practice can challenge the status quo, address maternal health disparities, and restore birth as both sacred and socially transformative.

Kundalini Yoga teaches us to refine our sensory system to be more aware, and to strengthen our nervous system to be more awake. Then we can embrace life, activate our talents and creativity, no longer be a stowaway in our own body, marvel at the small and big things, know that we are connected to all that is, nourish ourselves with this vital Kundalini impulse that propels evolution and gives us the means to accompany the formidable paradigm shift currently underway, towards a world more fair, harmonious and beautiful.

Emily Jahnsen, a certified Death Doula through Going With Grace, educates communities on the array of information encircling end-of-life options and after-death endeavors. Following the book “Let’s Talk About Death Over Dinner” by Michael Hebb, she dives into topics such as ‘how do we talk to children about death,’ ‘thoughts on physician-assisted suicide/organ donation/green burials,’ and ‘what are the deaths we don’t talk about in the world and why.’ Facilitating these conversations to transmute the current cultural taboo around death is how Emily actualizes her aspriation to elevate society’s resistance to our mortality in her lifetime.
